WHAT & WHEN IS IT?
Upward Sports is a unique basketball/cheerleading experience that provides an encouraging and Christ-centered environment for children to have fun learning a sport while building friendships with others.

Upward practices will begin on January 8th.
​
The first Upward game day will commence on January 20th.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Both boys and girls in 1st - 8th grade are eligible for basketball.
***new this season: We will be opening a 7th & 8th grade league exclusively on Friday nights
Girls in Kindergarten - 6th grade are eligible for cheerleading.
REGISTRATION AND EVALUATION DAY
Evaluation day (please make every effort to attend) will be held on December 2nd between 9AM and 12PM at Immanuel Church. Evaluations take about 20 minutes, and students can stop by anytime during the scheduled evaluation day!
During evaluation time, parents will determine the size of the uniform and attend a brief meeting, as students are evaluated on basic skills.
FEES & PAYMENTS
Registration fees are $125 for both basketball and cheerleading.
This price includes the uniform.
Cheerleading: Uniform = cheer top and skort
Basketball: Uniform = jersey
For each addition child, the price will be reduced by $10.
Payment won't be required until evaluation day

If you have your clearances on file because you have volunteered with us before, please contact the church Office HERE to confirm they are on file.
If you have never volunteered at Immanuel Church, but have your clearances through another organization, we will need copies of them as soon as possible. Please submit your scanned copies by email to the Office HERE,
