Join us Saturday, Dec 21 @ 6PM for a special Christmas service designed for those who may find the holidays to emotionally difficult as they transition through a difficult loss or life change. This is a place to share a time of remembrance and hope.
December 21 is the shortest day of the year – and along with the shortest day comes the longest night. Christmas is a season of great joy and light. However, for many people, it feels like a season of great darkness and shadows when everyday life is ‘endured’ with feelings of loneliness, grief, loss, separation, pain, sickness, financial burdens, or broken relationships…and this service is an opportunity to honestly acknowledge those emotions, losses and confusion before God and invite Him to speak gently to your heart right where you are. This service is more “quiet/simple”, “contemplative”, “gentle” than the more celebratory Christmas Eve services...a sacred space for people living through dark times. The service will be about 1 hour long – and include music and communion.
You’ll want to arrive about 15 minutes early to enjoy the live instrumental music provided in the Worship Center before the service begins. Following the service, we invite you to stay for a simple Christmas Dessert Reception. Childcare is NOT available for this service.
