Immanuel Young Adult Ministry (ages 18-30) is dedicated to INDIVIDUAL GROWTH and spiritual transformation as well as providing opportunities to grow spiritually in community. Young adults can be connected to each other through [mentor opportunities, individual conversations, small groups, bible studies, spiritual formation, worship, and fellowship]. Throughout the year, young adults can join various groups to be challenged on their faith journeys and to find connection and belonging.
The Open Door is a worship opportunity for Young Adults, designed with simplicity in mind. As life gets busy, God remains constant, so we want to create a unique space for us to seek Him in a way that is concentrated around a worship format that is inconsistent with the tempo of our daily schedules. Come connect with God, spend time in prayer, and worship freely, no matter where you find yourself in your faith journey. We want you to be able to worship through song and prayer, in community and individually, and without pretense or the need to hold back.
We will meet at Immanuel Church from 7 to 8:30pm in room 110 (come in the side door), every second Thursday of the month. The actual format of each night might change, but the door will always be open.
Story House is a gathering for young adults where stories and experiences are shared, and community is built. Each gathering will provide a space to share, opportunity to connect with others, and of course good food. We recognize that no two journeys are the same and finding a sense of belonging is essential to thriving. Our Story House hopes to provide a space to unpack your journey in an environment where all are welcome.
